Home For Business

Photo of women working online. There’s a lot of talk about a “down economy” being the reason many women are “Coming Home for Business” and I understand the thought process behind that philosophy. Developing a new stream of income may be a piece of the puzzle, but I personally think one must look at the bigger picture

It seems to me that there is an “inner voice” calling us to unleash our gifts to the world, and often times it’s simply easier to do that by becoming an entrepreneur and working from home.

Coming home for business is a thrilling journey that begins with a dream and vision that lies deep in your heart.

Your home office may be an art art studio, photography studio,  sewing room, or a special chair used only when you are coaching your clients; it may be a desk with a laptop and a phone. Maybe most of your work will be done out of doors training horses or filming nature.  But no matter where your entrepreneurial spirit sets up shop , it is the dream that will guide you to places you’ve not yet discovered, and provide an outlet for fully expressing yourself in the market place.Your business can become a tool for creativity that adds fulfillment to your life, touches others in unique ways, and enables you to leave a legacy that will continue  long after you’re gone.

With a clear vision in mind you’ll possess the strength and determination to move forward.  When you do, you’ll find that doing what you love doesn’t seem like work. You’ll find yourself jumping out of bed early in the morning with excitement and anticipation for what the new day will bring, as well as burning the midnight oil without even noticing that the time has passed so quickly.

Woodrow Wilson once wrote:

…dreamers see things in the soft haze of a spring day, or in the red fire on a long winters evening. Some of us let those dreams die but others nourish and protect them; nourish them through the bad days until they bring them to the sunshine and light which comes always to those who sincerely hope that their dreams will come true.

The dream may begin in the voice of a whisper, or it may enter your heart like thunder.  When it comes, how will you respond? Will you ignore that still small voice or will you hide from the thunder?  I hope not. I hope that you’ll embrace the dream and nurture it with vision, creativity, and determination. I hope you’ll let curiosity about what “can be” stream forth from every fibre of you’re being!

DARE TO DREAM!

And please share your journey with us!

From the heart,
